Trains between Todmorden and Blackburn are cancelled this morning due to slippery rails.
Northern Rail train company said the train services running between these stations will be cancelled causing delays and disruptions for travellers.
Rail replacement buses are running between Todmorden and Blackburn in both directions.
Disruption is expected until 10am today (October 20).

A spokesperson for Northern Rail said: “Services between Todmorden/Hebden Bridge and Blackburn are currently being disrupted due to a freight train which has failed due to poor railhead conditions. Network Rail are on site.
“Train services are unable to run between Todmorden and Blackburn in both directions.
“Kirkby to Blackburn services will terminate and start back from Todmorden.
“York to Blackpool North services will terminate and start back from Hebden Bridge.”
