A 73-year-old grandma from Blackburn has been left horrified after her daughter booked a table at an infamous restaurant.
Notorious for its rude staff members, Barbara, who made the trip from Blackburn, walked into Karen's Diner in Prestwich and almost straight back out, after the waitress greeted her with a “Hello Grandma… if you cry, do it in the toilets because no one gives a s***".
After booking a table at the interactive Prestwich diner, Jo Billington-Game, Barbara’s daughter, decided to leave the concept of the diner out of the conversation and filmed the hilarious interaction instead.
Jo visited the diner on Sunday, October 16 and said: “My daughter Jamie and I had seen the Diner on social media and decided it would be hilarious to take my mum; she has a great sense of humour.
“She had never heard of Karen's Diner and had absolutely no idea what to expect, so she was flabbergasted when she first arrived and after she was spoken to like that.
“Once we sat down and explained the concept she really got into it and had the place in uproar, laughing with her.”
In the TikTok video of Barbara at the diner the restaurant host greets her by saying: "What d'you want grandma".

After turning to her family, she quickly responds: "I'd like you to speak nicely".
The member of staff then snaps back: "Well you're in the wrong f***ing place for that, I'm afraid," while Jo laughs behind the camera.
An incredulous Barbara then asks: "Bloody hell, who booked this?"
The Tik Tok has now amassed more than 14 million views and Jo was the one to break the news to Barbara.
She said: “I visited mum yesterday and read out some of the lovely comments, she was thrilled and excited to be 'famous' on social media.
“I never, ever, expected the response we got and for it to go viral…It’s been a crazy 48 hours.
“I'm not sure she would go again, having done it once but we all thoroughly enjoyed it and all of us said how we hadn't laughed so much in a long time.”
Jo added that Barbara has taken her new found fame on TikTok in her stride and is "enjoying all the attention".
