A new café and bistro which promises slap-up and top-quality breakfasts has opened in East Lancashire.

2 Sisters Café and Bistro is located on Warner Street in Accrington and reviewers have been praising its breakfast options.

The business is run by Denisa Neamu and her family who want to serve the community fresh food and make customers feel at home in the café.

Denisa, who is 22 years old and originally from Romania, said: “My dream was always to be a business owner.

“Our aim is to stand out from the crowd which is why we decided to open as a bistro as well as café.

“We provide quality food and services. We want to be special and a bit different to your standard coffee shop that just sells average bacon butties.”

The café and bistro serve a range of items including cakes, chips, burgers and soup, but they want to be known for their breakfasts.

Their all-day full English, eggs royale, and breakfast bagels, have proven to be their most popular dishes so far.

Denisa continued: “I am so impressed by customers’ reaction to the café so far. We’ve had such great reviews even when we have been really busy.

“We sell quality and fresh food, nothing is frozen. Everything is made from scratch and while this may take a little longer, it is worth it for the quality.”

Denisa said the family were nervous to make the plunge and purchase the business with the current cost of living crisis.

She said: “We were nervous to make this jump with the cost of living crisis and it was a bit of a struggle.

“However, we saw so many signs telling us to work for ourselves instead of other people.

“When we walked in we felt like the site belonged to us and took it as a sign to launch the business.

“It has always been our dream and we have finally achieved it. Now we need to work hard and make everybody proud.”

After visiting the business one reviewer said: "It was like I entered a fairytale, the cosy atmosphere and the staff were the perfect recipe for a Saturday afternoon.

"We were welcomed with smiles and such a positive vibe that it reminded us of home. The hospitality exceeds any expectations and the food was delicious.

"I don’t have enough words to recommend this place, yet I do vow that it will be a time to remember."

Another said: "Lovely little cafe, really friendly and helpful staff. Amazing breakfast, all fresh and very well cooked."
