Winners have been revealed for this years all new art open which came to Blackburn at the start of the month.
Blackburn Museum and Art Gallery are hosting their first Art Open this Autumn through to early next year - and winners have been revealed.
In August they put out an open call to all artists, amateur and professional, to get ready to submit their work for what promised to be an exciting and diverse art show.
And now winners have been revealed after art work was judged by Halima Cassell, an artist and ceramic sculptor, Anthea Purkis, the museum's very own curator of art, and the leader of Blackburn with Darwen Council, Cllr Phil Riley.
In first place was Richard Cross, in second place was Adil Amin and Ian Morris came third.
The Art Open will now remain until January 7, 2023, and will be open from 12pm to 4.45pm, Wednesday to Saturday.
