A new charity shop that just sells items for children has opened in East Lancashire.
'Just For Kids' on Albert Road in Barnoldswick sells toys, prams, cots, baby clothes and other items that expectant mothers or low-income families need.
The shop sells both new and pre-loved items and those who can’t afford the bits they need and are in dire need of them will be able to get them for free.
The shop was opened by Burnley-based Church on the Street Ministries, a charity which helps those battling homelessness, addiction and poverty.

Pastor Mick Fleming, who founded the charity, said there is a “dire need” for a shop like this in the Barnoldswick community.
He said: “We noticed that there wasn’t a dedicated provision in Barnoldswick just for children’s items and things that expectant mothers need – it just isn’t there.
“We found that people needed this type of shop."
Mick said the shop, which opened on Monday (October 10), has been busy this week.
He said: “The first day was a busy day. The shop is performing better than we originally thought. It’s made a massive impact and it’s only the first week.”
Mick hopes the shop will be a great help to the community as the cost of living crisis bites and as the Christmas season approaches.
He said: “At Christmas time it’s going to make such a big difference to families.
“If you walk in with no money and genuinely can’t afford these items then you will walk out with what you need anyway.
“All profits will be put back into the Church on the Streets charity, to fund our services and help those in need.
“We want to sustain our community and serve its needs.”
Just For Kids is the second Church on the Streets Ministries charity shop to open in Barnoldswick. The first store, on Church Street, opened in 2020.
