A lump hammer, class A drugs and cash were found in a Range Rover during a stop and search.
Acting on intelligence, officers stopped the car on Preston Road in Charnock Richard at around 8.15pm yesterday (October 11).
During their search, officers say they found suspected class A drugs, a quantity of cash and a lump hammer in the vehicle.
A 31-year-old-man from Chorley is being questioned on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and possession of an offensive weapon.
Another man, a 35-year-old from Chorley arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and possession of an offensive weapon.
He has been released whilst investigations continue.
