Local Rosegrove businessman Wilf Dolman, the owner of Burnley Roofing in Accrington Road, and his brother Chris scaled the heights for charity by climbing to the base of the world's highest mountain.
In tackling Everest he lost one and a half stones but was able to raise a magnificent amount of £5,000 which will be donated between Breast Cancer Awareness and the North West Ambulance.
Wilf would like to thank everyone who supported him with their donations and help.
