A teenager from Lancashire has made his debut in new HBO show House of the Dragon.
Leo Ashton, from Chorley, appeared in the Game of Thrones prequel on Monday night (September 26).
Leo plays the character of Prince Aemond Targaryen, and can be seen sparring with Ser Criston Cole, played by Fabien Frankel, in episode six.
He plays the younger version of the character, the older version is played by Ewan Mitchell.
Budding actor Leo, 14, took to social media to talk about his experience on the show.
He said: “Thank you [House of the Dragon] for casting me as Aemond.
“Everyone on this show is insanely talented, in every department.
“All the comments and messages too – I can’t believe it. Thanks so much.”
Leo even asked producers if he could “come back soon”.
He said: “People ask what I love about acting.
“I love big scenes and also smaller scenes when I don’t have much to do and get to watch the epic acting royalty that are in this show - but I love the life and the people too.
“TV and film sets are the best and full of cool people.”
“Some massive thank yous for best production team ever. Love you all so much.
“Also big thanks to House of the Dragon - I was treated like a star - please can I come back soon?”
It’s not the first time the former Parklands High School student has landed a role in a major television series.
He starred as Oliver Marshbrook in last year’s season of ITV’s The Bay.
He also appeared as Liam Longwell in the BBC thriller Red Rose, which is set in Bolton and came out earlier this year.
Before that he briefly appeared in an episode of BBC’s Doctors and 2016 drama series Deep Water.
You can watch House of the Dragon on Sky Atlantic and streaming service NOW.
