A Burnley teenage actress and model has spoken of her 'pride' after being featured in a photoshoot at Padiham Town Hall.
Lamissah La-Shontae Imaan Bhatti was part of a group of young people who were invited by Burnley Council for the photo shoot.
Lamissah has featured in more than 50 films and has also walked at Paris Fashion Week, London Fashion Week and Liverpool Fashion Week, among others.
In April, she finished filming ‘The Secret Project’ working alongside singer and reality TV star Peter Andre, soap star Jamie Lomas and award-winning director and producer Fredi Nwaka. Filming took place in both London and Jamaica.
Lamissah said she was approached by Burnley Council earlier in the summer to help showcase the success of the town.
She said: “I had the most incredible full fun packed day. It was absolutely amazing day.
“A huge thank you to everyone who made this possible. I know you all worked incredibly hard.
“I would also like to say massive thank you to everyone at Burnley Council for taking great care of me on the day and for the amazing lunch.”
Photographer Casey Orr helped capture the day and UCLAN fashion designer and Boohoo Competition winner and UCLan fashion graduate Sameera Mohmed and UCLan senior fashion lecturer, Amanda Odlin were on hand to help with outfits.
The images feature in the summer edition of the Burnley Lifestyle magazine.
