A man has admitted killing a woman who was found strangled in a flat above a village beauty salon in December.
James Bellass, 36, of Holland House Court, Walton-le-Dale, admitted the manslaughter of 26-year-old Jillinda Fisher but the prosecution at Preston Crown Court refused to accept his plea.
He will now stand trial accused of murder June 2.
Beauty therapist Jillinda was found in the flat at the Sybaris beauty salon which she ran at The Green, Eccleston, near Chorley.
Bellass was remanded in custody by Judge Anthony Russell QC.
