The crime-drama series Professor T is returning for a second season on ITV this week, which will again follow the crime-solving exploits genius criminologist Jasper Tempest, played by Ben Miller.

Frances de la Tour will also be back as Professor T’s overbearing mother Adelaide, with Juliet Aubrey, Emma Naomi and Barney White also featuring.

Professor T is an adaptation of the Belgian TV series of the same name, and aired its first series in July 2021.

The programme revolves around Miller’s character assisting the police in solving crimes, and this will continue in series two along with some further exploration into Professor T’s childhood.

When will ITV's Professor T series 2 be on TV?

The first episode of the second season of Professor T will air at 9pm on ITV on Friday, September 16.

From there the remaining five episodes will be shown at the same tima and day in the proceeding weeks.
