A PUB regular has had his head shaved to help a landlady raise £10,000 in memory of her husband.
Pam Cockett wants to raise the money for Macmillan Nurses and Pendleside Hospice, Reedley, Burnley, who cared for her husband Billy when he had cancer.
A regular at Pam's Cattle Market Pub, Parker Lane, Burnley, Terry McDermott decided to help by asking for sponsorship to have his hair shaved off at a charity night at the pub.
Terry said: "I am happy to be able to help these two wonderful charities by having my head shaved and I would like to thank regulars at Fulledge Conservative Working Men's Club and my workmates at CWR Scaffold for their generous support."
The total raised from Terry's sponsorship so far is over £500 and £360 was raised at the charity night.
