FREE sports activities will be arranged for Burnley children during school holidays.
The SHOUT programme will run from April 7 to 18, for five to eight-year-olds, and eight to 16-year-olds.
A family fun day at Sure Start Tay Street on April 17 will include street games, water play and circus skills, while sports days will be at the Spirit of Sport centre, Blessed Trinity College, on April 10 and 17.
Sports camps for both age groups will be at Hameldon Community College, the Spirit of Sport centre and Barden Gardens Park on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with a reward day trip to Lightwater Valley on April 18.
Darren Wright, Burnley Council's sports develop-ment officer, said: "This is a free, fun way for young people to stay fit and healthy, whilst making friends, trying new sports and increasing skill levels."
Pick up SHOUT prog-rammes at leisure centres, the council's Contact Centre, schools or downloaded from www.burnley.gov.uk.
