A SPRING flower arranging demonstration is being held to raise money for the Mayor of Pendle's Charity Fund.
Alison Eddy from Burnley Flower Club will be creating a whole range of weird and wonderful floral arrangements at Nelson Town Hall on Tuesday, April 15.
The event has been organised to raise funds for the mayor's chosen charities - West Craven First Responders, Rainbows Special Needs Therapy Nursery in Barrowford and the Burnley and Pendle Befriending Scheme.
Coun Allan Buck said: "I am approaching the end of my mayoral year and want to raise as much money as possible for these local worthy causes.
"This should be a very enjoyable evening for anyone who likes flowers or has a creative flair."
Tickets cost £5 from the town hall on the night.
