RAWTENSTALL police are urging residents to attend PACT meeting this April.

The meetings are held monthly in each ward by police for residents to discuss crimes, disorder and community cohesion.

The next meetings are: Cribden & Goodshaw: 10am to 1pm on April 19, Holmefield Garage, Burnley Road, Rawtenstall.

Greenfield: 3pm on April 7, Haslingden Library.

Greensclough & Irwell: 4pm on April 12, Bacup Police Station.

Hareholme: 10 to noon on April 17, NHP van, Schofield Street, Waterfoot.

Helmshore & Edenfield: 3.30pm on April 4, The Shopping Basket, Bolton Road North, Edenfield.

Longholme: 1pm-2.30pm on April 7, Asda Rawtenstall.

Stacksteads:1-3pm on April 1, Webb's Cafe, Newchurch Road, Stacksteads.

Worsley: 2pm on April 4, Winfields Cafe, Rising Bridge.

Whitewell: 6pm-7pm on April 7, Whitewell Bottom Community Centre.

Whitworth, Healey, Facit & Shawforth: 7pm on April 3, Police office at Whitworth Civic Hall.
