KILLED: Mohammed Shafiq
THE funeral of a father-of-seven who died after being stabbed in Thompson Park, Burnley, will be held at a mosque today.
A service will be held for Mohammed Shafiq at the Ghosia Jamia Mosque, in Every Street, Nelson, from 1.30pm.
After prayers, the body will be taken to Walton Lane Cemetery, Nelson, where Mr Shafiq will be buried.
A separate service will be held for women at the family home in York Street, Nelson, before the funeral service.
