AS the demolition of Lord Square, Blackburn, continues, the former Woolworths building became the latest victim of the munching machine.
With the site now littered with hardcore and rubble, builders face the challenge of removing much of the waste from the construction site.
The last business to use the building was TJ Hughes.
The owners of Lord Square, The Mall, have unveiled a £66m scheme for the town, with 20 new shops including a flagship Primark store and a new market.
The project is due to be finished in spring.
