An East Lancashire model-turned-realtor is the star of a new Netflix reality show, Selling the OC.
Polly Brindle, from Barnoldswick, is one of the real estate agents selling luxe properties to millionaires on the Selling Sunset spin-off.
In the show, a fresh set of real estate agents (realtors in the US) square off, competing to establish themselves on the Orange County coast in America.
They work hard and play harder, as they compete with the cut-throat property market.
Speaking to the Lancashire Telegraph she said: "I’m still pinching myself that I have ended up on this show.
"I moved down to the OC from Los Angeles to start a new ‘normal’ job and never in my wildest dreams did I think my journey in this career would be aired to 139 countries!
"People can expect to see incredible properties, incredible sales and incredible drama…(and a touch of foul language and nudity)."
Polly, 36, is the show’s only Brit and says people back in her home town will find the show “mental”.
Speaking to a national newspaper she said: “They’ll be like, ‘I don’t know how you can deal with those people’ – and sometimes I don’t.’
Polly, who once worked as a model before moving to Los Angeles, grew up in a four-bedroom home with her two siblings and parents, a far cry from the million pound homes she sells to her American customers.

Speaking about Barnoldswick, she said: “It’s way up north, very picturesque and has a very small-town mentality where everyone knows everyone else.”
Her Lancashire accent hasn’t made her job any easier in the states and her colleagues often have a hard time understanding her.
“They misunderstand me so often, they made a point of putting it on the show”, she told the national newspaper.
Despite the drama in the show Polly insists that it isn’t scripted.
She said: "Sometimes we’ll have to re-do scenes.
“But we’re not told what to say and it’s 100 per cent real. If anything they’ve minimised the drama.”
As well as a career as an estate agent and model, Polly has also played a small role in some movies including Jingle Dead II and The Glass Man.
She also said she “got to snog Chris Hemsworth for two days” after playing a small role in 2013 movie Rush.
Selling The OC is streaming on Netflix now.
