Firefighters spent over two hours tackling a house fire early this morning.
Two fire engines from Chorley were called to a fire at a property on Mill Lane in Coppull today (August 20) at around 1:50am.
Fire fighters used one hose reel jet to extinguish the blaze that damaged the roof of the property.
They were at the scene for about two hours and twenty minutes.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: “Two fire engines from Chorley attended a fire on Mill Lane, Coppull. The fire involved debris at the rear of a domestic property affecting the roof space.
“Firefighters used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
“Crews were in attendance for approximately two hours and twenty minutes.”
