A person had to be but from a car by firefighters after a crash earlier this morning.
Emergency services were called to a crash on Skipton Old Road in Foulridge at about 10.40am today (August 18).
Firefighters had to rescue one person from their vehicle who was given oxygen.
Luckily they were not required to go to hospital.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: “Two fire engines from Colne attended a road traffic collision on Skipton Old Road, Foulridge. The incident involved two vehicles.
“One person was released from their vehicle by firefighters and treated with oxygen therapy.
“Crews were in attendance for approximately 50 minutes.”
A spokesperson for the ambulance service added: “We were called at 10.56am to reports of a crash.
“We sent an ambulance and rapid response vehicle.
“The patient luckily didn’t need an ambulance so we cleared the scene shortly after.”
