A landmark East Lancashire pub has officially reopened its doors after undergoing a refurbishment of more than £350,000.
The Observatory, on Old Bank Lane in Blackburn, closed at the start of June and officially opened last week.
Now, the Thwaites Brewery pub has shared photos of its brand new interiors with the Lancashire Telegraph.
The upgrades include a significantly improved outdoor area with a covered space and its own bar.
The sports viewing areas has also been refreshed and it features what is said to be Blackburn’s first interactive darts experience.
Hungry diners can also look forward to a complete refresh of the food menu.
Landlords Mark Fish and Tom Croft, said an opportunity arose for them to invest jointly alongside Daniel Thwaites, in order to breathe new life into the pub with the revamp.
As part of this commitment they signed a 10-year agreement to remain at The Observatory.
Since opening, many punters have shared their excitement about the pub’s new look.
One person said:”We called in to have a good old nosey.
