Artists are being invited to submit their work to be put on display at Blackburn Museum.
Blackburn Museum & Art Gallery is hosting its first art open exhibition in October.
The exhibition will be on display from October 1 until January 14, from Wednesday to Saturday between 12pm and 4:45pm.
Any type of artwork and sculpture can be submitted, but the artwork must be no bigger than 100cm by 100cm. Sculptures or other media of reasonable size may also be exhibited.
A spokesperson for the gallery said: “There is no theme for this year’s exhibition and we can’t wait to showcase all kinds of local creativity from painting to drawing to sculpture this autumn.
“With prizes to win and the option to sell your work, this is an exciting chance for you or someone you know to showcase their art to a wide audience.”
All works must be the artist's own work and cannot be submitted on behalf of someone else
There is a £5 entry fee along with submitted artwork to the museum between Thursday, September 15 and September 17.
