A new horror experience is coming to Charnock Richard later this year – and it’s not for the faint-hearted.
Arts and entertainment company, Park N Party, is launching Scare City from 30 September.
Here, they plan to bring the world’s longest outdoor horror experience to the former Camelot Theme Park site.
During the experience you will brave a long walk littered with special effects and scare actors who are lurking in the dark.
This is after the success of last year’s drive through Zombie experience ‘Camelot Rises’- and it’s set to be a blood-soaked ordeal for those who have the guts to enter.
With a two kilometre walk through different zones of terror Park N Party say this will be the world’s longest outdoor horror experience, giving you more blood for your buck than ever before.
12 distinct scare zones, including the Swizzels Blood Curdling Camelot Castle, The Crypt of Camelot. Medieval Murder Zone, Share if You Dare, Whirlwind Woods and many more, come with terrifying live actors, delivering two hours of frightening fun.
As your nerves are shredded by every snap of a branch, the rustle of leaves and a gust of wind, something far more unnatural approaches.
However, a warning has been issued to the public who have been told that the Scare City Experience is fit only for those seeking a festival of fear.
A spokesperson said: “Here at Scare City we are delighted to announce our return to the old Camelot Theme Park this Autumn.
“Following our hugely successful drive through experience ‘Camelot Rises’, we are coming back with an exciting - or should we say, terrifying experience
“We are building the world’s longest walk-through horror attraction!
“Our guests will encounter live action scares, special effects and a whole host of themed areas as they venture through the old theme park.
“We have uncovered new areas left abandoned for over 12 years including our centerpiece - the Swizzles Blood Curdling Camelot Castle!
“Are you brave enough?”
Tickets are priced at £20 per person and available to purchase online via Park N Party: www.parknpartymcr.co.uk/scare-city/
