Retired world heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury is to sponsor his home town football club, Morecambe FC.
‘The Shrimps’ has announced that Fury’s ‘Gypsy King’ brand will feature on their home and away playing shorts for the 2022-23 season
A further announcement to be made at a later date which will see the Gypsy King, who currently lives in Morecambe, extend his partnership with the Club even further.

Head of commercial for Morecambe FC Martin Thomas said: "We have a great relationship with Tyson and are proud to wear his Gypsy King brand on the first-team shorts for the forthcoming campaign.
"Tyson is a fantastic ambassador for the Morecambe area and it's fantastic to have him onboard. Tyson is one of the most recognisable names in the world of sport, and will bring worldwide recognition Club.
"He will join a ever-growing list of commercial partners, alongside both local and national brands as well as local businesses the Club have signed in recent seasons. We now have a huge reach across the globe, with further presence on a worldwide stage due to this partnership."

Tyson Fury said: “Fury said: “Big announcement – the Gypsy King has just sponsored my local club, Morecambe Football Club.
“Let’s have a fantastic season and smash it. Come on the boys! And the girls!”
"I love the Morecambe area and it is a pleasure to be able to support my local club."
Fury beat Dillian Whyte in April to retain the WBC title. He announced afterwards he was retiring but has been persistently linked with a return to the ring.
The 33-year-old and his family are currently filming a 10-part ‘fly on the wall’ documentary that will feature on Netflix at a later date.
