A MAN started stalking his ex-partner after she said she didn't want any further contact with him.

Blackburn magistrates heard Nathan Seed bombarded her with messages and phone calls and went as far as setting up fake Instagram accounts to contact her.

He also sent her videos of his penis.

Seed, 25, of Gillibrand Street, Darwen, pleaded guilty to stalking. He was remanded on bail for the preparation of a pre-sentence report.

Paul Sumner, prosecuting, said the relationship ended in December 2019 but they continued to speak to each other.

"Things got out of control and there were up to 120 calls a day and contact through text messages," said Mr Sumner. "On January 22 2021 she texted him and said she did not want any further contact."

Mr Sumner said Seed continued to contact the aggrieved via texts, phone calls and the face Instagram accounts.

"She has said she doesn't want him to be allowed to contact her in any way," said Mr Sumner. "She says it has been going on too long and has had an impact on her new relationship."

Colleen Dickinson-Jones, defending, said her client had his own mental health issues and had at times been suicidal.

"When he was interviewed by the police he was a little confused about exactly what he had done," said Mrs Dickinson-Jones.
