A beauty therapist could win a trip to South Africa after being shortlisted for a ‘therapist of the year’ award.

Emily Guerin, of Emily Guerin Beauty, based in Edenfield, has been shortlisted for the Nimue Therapist of the Year 2022 Award.

Emily, 35, who has about 18 years experience in the beauty industry and a beauty therapy teaching degree, has been shortlisted for the award due to her exceptional skincare results, extensive Nimue training, product sales, beautiful salon and passion for the brand and skincare.

Emily said: "It was amazing for me, I haven't been a stockist of theirs for very long.

"During the time I have we have had the global pandemic so out of all the stockists, it's amazing to be shortlisted for this.

"They are an amazing brand to work with, they are very passionate about therapists and they look after us all. We get recognised a lot."
