Give us some history about the pub?
The Lower Buck Inn dates back to 1760 and sits in the beautiful village of Waddington. Now boasting a popular reputation not only for good ale and food but also boutique accommodation comprising of a three bedroom holiday cottage, and five individually designed bedrooms all offering something different for each individual guest.
Is food served? Is so what’s on the menu?
A variety of home-cooked food offering the freshest of ingredients locally sourced and weekly changing specials.

Yes, we have a large outdoor seating area and a seating area at the front of the Inn

Most memorable moment at the pub?
In the hospitality industry at the minute every day is memorable but probably when the Prime Minster told us we had to close.
Do you have an entertainment line-up?
Yes throughout the year we have live music on.
Have you faced any challenges within the industry?
The pandemic, which led to huge loss of earnings, which has now led to a staffing crisis, plus a difference in customer attitude and expectations. Then the cost of living crisis is having a significant effect on customer spend.

The customers
The worst thing about running a pub is?
The stress.

Bloody Mary and a bacon sandwich
