The list of nominees for the UK Theme Park Awards 2022 has been announced and Blackpool Pleasure Beach has been nominated for 16 awards.
The Awards are split up into 22 categories and this year sees many categories return including Theme Park of the Year, Best Customer Service and Best Value and new ones have also been added such as Best Steel Coaster, Best Wooden Coaster and Best Mascot.
For the third year, the British public can vote for their favourite rides, attractions, shows and events in the national awards.
How to vote for your favourite theme park in the UK Theme Park Awards 2022
Voting opens on Friday, July 22 and will close on Friday, September 2.
It will be available to do via the UK Theme Park Awards website.
Until then, you can enter your name and email to be reminded when the vote is open.
The votes will be combined with those of the Expert Judges to generate the final results, which will then be announced at this year’s awards event on Thursday, 22 September, hosted by Drayton Manor.

Blackpool Pleasure Beach nominated for 16 awards
The shortlist has been created and Blackpool Pleasure Beach has been nominated for 16 awards, with some categories having more than one nomination for the attraction.
- Theme Park of the Year presented by ADIPS
- Best New Attraction presented by Convious - ENSŌ
- Best Theme Park for Families (Large) presented by Vennersys
- Best Theme Park for Toddlers presented by BALPPA – Nickelodeon Land
- Best Theme Park for Thrills presented by Guinness World Records
- Best Seaside Park presented by Semnox
- Best Steel Coaster presented by the European Coaster Club – ICON and The Big One
- Best Wooden Coaster presented by the Roller Coaster Club of Great Britain – Big Dipper, Blue Flyer, Grand National and Nickelodeon Streak
- Best Dark Ride presented by Katapult - Valhalla and Wallace & Gromit's Thrill-O-Matic
- Best Live Entertainment presented by TAG Live – Hot Ice
- Best Mascot - Bradley & Belle Beaver
- Best Historic Ride – Alice Ride, Derby Racer, Flying Machines, Gallopers, Ghost Train and Grand Prix
- Best Halloween Event presented by The Business Creative – Journey to Hell
- Best Social Media Engagement presented by Convious
- Best Customer Service presented by Attractions.io
- Best Value
Other contenders for the awards include Alton Towers, Thorpe Park, LEGOLAND Windsor and more.
The awards will also acknowledge the growing community of theme park content creators with three awards; Blogger of the Year, YouTuber of the Year and Instagrammer of the Year.
