A shed fire in East Lancashire last night required two fire engines to put out the blaze.
The fire broke out shortly after 11pm in Peel Park, Accringtnon, and two crews from Hyndburn Fire & Rescue attended for around an hour.
A spokesperson for the service said: "At 11.13pm on Tuesday, June 28, two fire engines from Hyndburn attended a fire in Peel Park, Accrington.
"The fire involved a shed.
"Firefighters used one hose reel to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for approximately one hour."
Peel Park and The Coppice has Green Flag status and consists of a children’s play area, multi-use games area, tennis courts, and bowling green.
It is located at the top of Avenue Parade in Accrington with views over the town, and next to the largest local nature reserve in Lancashire.
The summit of the park is known to locals as the Coppice and gives stunning views of the area, and on a clear day Blackpool Tower can even be seen from the peak.
