A man has been named and charged following a robbery at a shop in Darwen.
Detectives were called to the Co-op on Blackburn Road at 8.25pm on Monday (June 20) following reports a man had threatened staff with a weapon before leaving with a quantity of cash.
On Thursday, a 27-year-old man from Darwen was arrested on suspicion of robbery.
Following consultation with the Crown Prosecution Service, Alec Harris, 27, of Astbury Chase, Darwen, was charged with robbery and two further attempted robberies.
He appeared before Lancashire magistrates over the weekend and was remanded into custody to appear at crown court on July 28.
