A doctor's surgery has had to close after an issue with the water supply.
Patients from Rossendale Primary Health Care Centre in Bacup Road, Rawtenstall, have been told the surgery will contact them with further information after the surgery has suddenly had to close.
Staff have discovered an issue with the water supply which has meant the building has closed.
United Utilities have been called to try and repair the issue.
A spokesperson said: “There is currently an issue with the water supply to Rossendale Primary Care Centre which is affecting the services being delivered from the building and the building has had to temporarily close.
“United Utilities are working hard to rectify the issue as quickly as possible.
“If you have an appointment at the centre you will be contacted by the relevant service who will advise further.”
