Burnley DJ, Jordan North, has been tickled by a comment which criticised his outfit choice on a BBC book review show.
Jordan appeared on Sara Cox's show, Between the Covers, earlier this week where he talked about his favourite book.
However, some viewers were less interested in the book review and more focused on Jordan’s ‘mum’ outfit.
Posting to Instagram, Jordan shared a message that was sent to him after the show aired which said: “Hi Jordan. Can I borrow your mum’s coat that you wore on book club with Sara Cox which aired [on Wednesday 15 June].
“Love you.”
Thankfully, Jordan didn’t take the comment badly and said: “Fair play. This has really made me laugh.”
In the next story, he posted a snap of himself from the show and said: “It’s a green ‘shacket’.”
Jordan appeared on Between The Covers to discuss one of his favourite books, The Heart’s Invisible Furies by John Boyne.
“I read this during first lockdown – and I absolutely loved it.
“I think it is storytelling at its finest but this is, from start to finish, heartwarming, harrowing.
“It is one of the best books, if not the best, book I have ever read.
“One minute you will be crying at a chapter and the next you will be howling – it is so sassy and witty.”
