A stunning Georgian mansion has been praised at an awards ceremony, after being named best wedding venue in Lancashire.
Other Lancashire businesses and individuals were also praised at the North West Wedding Awards 2022, which took place on Thursday night.
Eaves Hall in West Bradford, near Clitheroe, was named best wedding venue in the county.
The Georgian-style country house, which offers exclusive use for weddings, will be celebrating the win with a host of open evenings, offering engaged couples the chance to explore Lancashire’s best wedding venue while enjoying a glass of fizz and canapés.
Eaves Hall is part of the James’ Places group, a collection of distinctive country inns, hotels and wedding venues occupying idyllic locations in rural Lancashire, Cumbria and Yorkshire.
Eaves Hall’s sister venues, The Shireburn Arms and Mitton Hall were also finalists in the Best Venue Lancashire category.
Amber Kirkby, Wedding Coordinator at Eaves Hall, said: “We are absolutely thrilled that Eaves Hall was crowned the winner at last night’s awards, especially as we were up against some truly amazing venues.
“We want to take the opportunity to thank all of our past couples who voted for us. Without their incredible support and the hard work and dedication of our team, we wouldn’t have taken home this fantastic accolade.”
They weren’t the only Lancashire winners to come home victorious from the ceremony.
Lucy Morris at Stirk House Hotel, in Gisburn, was named best wedding coordinator.
A Stirk House spokesperson said: “We will never be able to put into words just how proud we are of our lovely Lucy who is the winner of Best Wedding Co-Ordinator in the 2022 County Brides North West Wedding Awards.
"This incredible girl plays such a big part in making Stirk House the success that it is.
“Not only does she work hard to make sure all our couples have the most fantastic wedding day, the energy and positivity she has is inspiring.
“She brings so much happiness to all of us at the hotel and we are very lucky to have her.
“We’re so grateful to County Brides and of course to all of our couples who have voted for the girls and given them the recognition they deserve; we’re looking forward to next year already.”
