A person has been taken to hospital after caravan fire which is being investigated.
Three fire crews from Preston and Blackburn were called at 4.35am this morning (May 22) to a caravan blaze on St Mary's Gardens in Mellor.
The fire involved a caravan which had spread to a shed, adjacent fencing and a trailer.
Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used three hose reels and a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
A casualty was treated for smoke inhalation by paramedics.
Crews were in attendance for approximately six hours.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
