The Rocky Horror Show is coming to Blackpool Grand Theatre in February 2023.
Richard O’Brien’s Rocky Horror Show is taking to the stage from Monday February 13 to Saturday February 18, 2023.
Follow Brad and Janet, college sweethearts, on an adventure they’ll never forget when, by a twist of fate, their car breaks down outside a creepy mansion whilst on their way to visit their former college professor.
There they meet the scandalous Dr Frank’n’Furter, the rippling Rocky and the vivacious Magenta and the cute couple’s lives will never be the same again.

If you’re going to be at one of the shows, you might be wondering what you can wear so here’s a little inspiration.
Whether you choose to dress as a French maid like Magenta, to sport a top hat and shorts like Columbia, dress preppy and clean-cut like Brad and Janet or go full Dr Frank ‘n’ Furter in a glamorous lace corset and high heels – it’s up to you!
Alternatively, wearing something casual and comfortable works too.
Blackpool Grand Theatre has revealed three things that you shouldn’t wear to the show:
- Suits - These are only worn by people who thought they were booking for Phantom of the Opera and called the wrong number.
- Sandals, anoraks or anything with a touch of the trainspotter.
- A striped top. That’s just a Rocky Horror no go…
But the golden rule Blackpool Grand Theatre has set is that regardless of your outfit choice, everyone is there to enjoy their night.
You can view upcoming shows and book tickets via the Blackpool Grand Theatre website.
