WANNABE belly dancers have been left stirred but not shaking!
East Lancs Adult Learning only started the two-hour classes at Bacup and Rawtenstall Grammar School last Wednesday - but they have already been been cancelled.
Organisers now say they hope to run the course again next term in Colne.
The classes were cancelled after the tutor said she was unable to commit to the course after learning the final year of her university course timetable had changed.
Will Oldham, programme area leader at ELAL, said: "The tutor was really exciting but she's got other commitments.
"She is in her final year and the times had changed so she couldn't carry on - it's just one of those things. Now we've got to get another tutor.
"We hate cancelling courses - it's a nightmare - but we're going to try to run the course again next term at Park High School, Colne.
"We also run a course in Whalley so students could go to that instead."
The classes were going to consist of 10 weekly sessions with a full fee is £64.
Everyone who paid for the sessions will be refunded automatically.
