A MAN smashed his sister's head against a wall, leaving her in pain and being sick, a court was told.
Nicholas Paul Speak, 29, grabbed Karen Speak by the shoulders and pushed her back, causing her to crack her head, Burnley magistrates heard.
Speak, of Williams Road, Burnley, admitted assault by beating.
He was given a community order with 12 months supervision and must pay £75 costs and £100 compensation.
Richard Taylor, defending, said Speak had no previous record for assault. It was not his intention that his sister should bang her head. It was by accident but he had caused it.
Mr taylor said that the defendant felt very ashamed.
