East Lancashire comedian, Tez Ilyas, has been rubbing shoulders with footballers from his “boyhood club”, Blackburn Rovers.
The Blackburn funnyman will also be performing a gig at Rovers’ ground Ewood Park later this month.
Tez attended the Player of the Year Awards earlier this week, meeting Bradley Dack, Ben Brereton Diaz and a host of other Rovers players.
In one picture he posed with goalie, Thomas Kaminski and said: “He’s a keeper”.
In another, he stood next to Tony Mowbray and wrote: “Delighted to have signed my first professional contract with my boyhood club.”

After the event, Tez admitted to being a “fan boy”, thanking the Rovers development manager, Yasir Sufi, for “sorting him out” for the event.
This comes ahead of Tez’s Ewood Park gig, which takes place later this month.
He will be performing after a health and wellbeing event on May 10, which runs from 9.30am to 4pm.
The event will be filled with key note speakers and followed by an optional comedy night, with Tez, in the Blues Bar.
Tickets for the conference start from £36.50. Just for the evening of comedy, ticket prices start from £15.
