A BLACKBURN woman has been banned from entering a Morrisons store ahead of a trial for alleged assaults at the supermarket late last year.
Daria Georgeta, 25, pleaded not guilty to two counts of assault by beating during a hearing at Harrogate Magistrates’ Court on April 28.
Georgeta, of Pine Street Blackburn, is alleged to have assaulted two people – a man and a woman – at a branch of Morrisons in the North Yorkshire town of Boroughbridge on November 5.
She had pleaded not guilty on December 22 and the trial was due to take place on April 28, but has had to be adjourned again as a Romanian interpreter was not available.
Her trial has now been scheduled to take place on October 13 in Harrogate, and Georgeta has been granted conditional bail.
The conditions include not entering the Morrisons supermarket in Boroughbridge, which court documents said was to “prevent interference with witnesses or otherwise obstruct the course of justice, whether in relation to the defendant or any other person”.
