A driver overtook police on a motorway at over 100mph.
Officers pulled over the Vauxhall Astra which passed them on the westbound carriage of the M65 last night.
The driver was stopped and reported for excess speed.
A spokesperson for the police said: “This Vauxhall Astra overtook HX62 on the M65 westbound in excess of 100mph.
“Driver stopped and reported for excess speed.”
