Is the party over for Boris Johnson? Certainly not! It seems that the British people like to have a liar for a Prime Minister.
His own party have accepted that he does not know the difference between a meeting and a party and I suppose the country will accept that they have a buffoon as a Prime Minister. His advisers said he was not at a party so we believe them. Seriously?
Some 140,000 people died due to Covid-19; that families couldn’t be with them at the end means nothing to him.
I’m not particularly a royalist but I respect her Majesty, the Queen and to see her all alone at the funeral of her husband while Number 10 partied the night before beggars belief. The Prime Minister has sworn allegiance to the Crown. Was the party his way of showing respect?
Boris Johnson is now the first Prime Minister in history to bring this nation into a position where its moral standing in the world is in tatters.
So please don’t trivialise this most serious issue of his premiership. This means that we no longer stand tall, look the world straight in the eye and talk of democracy. Putin is laughing at us and it must stop and it must stop now. Boris Johnson must go before too much damage has been done to our credibility within the world!
The British press and media are betraying parliamentary democracy by failing to uphold all the standards of decency along with the MPs and peers of this country.
All our MPs - Tories, Labour, Liberal Democrats, SNP - are all trivialising this issue.
