So the Prime Minister and Chancellor, amongst others, have been fined for holding parties at Number 10 during lockdown. How many thousands of hours of police and media time have been wasted on this?
You would think that the police have far more important crimes to investigate.
It is a £50 fine, just like a parking fine, and it does not give you a criminal record yet all the politicians are busy demanding that Boris is sacked!
But then most of them have been calling for Boris to be sacked every day, since he was democratically elected at the last general election.
The politicians and the media want to get real. There are a lot more important things that they should be worrying about than Partygate.
