A children’s television presenter visited a popular Lancashire amusement park to film a CBeebies show.
Grace Webb, from educational children’s show, Grace’s Amazing Machines, took on a rollercoaster at Blackpool Pleasure Beach.
In the segment, which was filmed last year, Grace took a ride on Pleasure Beach’s Icon and explained to young viewers exactly how these rides work.
Grace was filmed as the ride is in motion as she tried to explain more about the roller coaster to her young viewers.
She said: “My first theme park machine is super fast, made of steel and full of twists and turns.
“Rollercoasters are really fun and found in theme parks all over the world.
“They’re all different. Some can turn you upside down, twist you around and even drop you down really quickly – did I mention that they are also really fast?”
A spokesperson for Blackpool Pleasure Beach said: “Last year we filmed with @cbeebieshq for Grace’s Amazing Machines and you can check out the brilliant episode featuring ICON now on BBC iPlayer.”
Icon has received an upgrade in recent months and now has some specially designed seats which spin freely, all while the ride is in motion.
The new addition, known as 'ENSŌ', is a first for Europe and is set the make the UK’s first and only double launch rollercoaster even more thrilling.
Icon launches riders with the same acceleration as a Formula One car, rising and swooping through numerous interactions with other rides before hitting a second launch which powers riders high above Blackpool Pleasure Beach and through to the conclusion of this exciting journey.
ENSŌ magnifies these thrills and creates a whole new experience for those who dare to get twisted.
Pleasure Beach recently released an first-person video of what it would look like in one of the spinning seats, with some viewers saying it looks “intense”.
One person said: “In all fairness, this looks pretty intense. Looking forward to riding this.
Another said: “That looks amazing! Iam hoping to get on it maybe next year as I can't budget for it this year but it looks so good!”
