TWO men have been charged in relation to a burglary at a Blackburn sub-station.
John Dawson, 22, Ennerdale Avenue, Blackburn, has been charged with burglary other than in a dwelling with intent to steal.
Darryl Barnes, 35, from Higher Church Street, Darwen has been charged with burglary other than in a dwelling with intent to steal, criminal damage, recklessly endangering life and criminal damage to property.
They were charged in connection with a burglary at a substation, North Road, Blackburn, on November 14 when two police officers and an employee from United Utilities were injured in an explosion.
They were bailed until a hearing at Blackburn Magistrates on Friday February 15 2008.
