A BURNLEY primary school is celebrating after being rated good and outstanding in an inspection.
St John the Baptist RC Primary in Thames Avenue has been praised for its pastoral care and pupils for their excellent behaviour in a report by Ofsted.
The school was inspected from January 10 to 11 and the report said: "Pupils clearly enjoy their lessons, work hard and make good progress due to the effective teaching based on a stimulating curriculum.
"Behaviour is exceptional and pupils say they feel very safe and secure."
