A man has been arrested after a security guard was injured while trying to detain a suspect.
On Thursday, police were called to the Booths store in Haven Road in Lytham.
It was reported that while trying to detain a suspect, a security guard has landed on some broken glass and sustained an injury to his hand.
The injury is not thought to be serious.
A 32-year-old man from Blackpool has been arrested on suspicion of section 18 assault and remains in custody at this time.
A spokesperson for the police said: "There has been speculation that somebody had been stabbed, but thankfully that was not the case."
