A road will be closed for a "significant period of time" while emergency services deal with a serious crash this afternoon.
The Long Causeway in Cliviger has been closed this afternoon by police following a serious road traffic collision on the road that runs between Burnley and West Yorkshire.
The road is closed between Red Lees Road, close to The Kettledrum Inn, and Kebs Road, and has been shut since 3.50pm.
On social media, Lancashire Road Police said: “The Long Causeway in Cliviger is currently closed due to a serious road traffic collision at both the Burnley side and the West Yorkshire side.
“It is likely to be closed for a significant period of time. We would ask motorists to please avoid the area.”
