CHORLEY entrepreneur Aaron Willis will be auctioning off clothing he wore as a contestant on The Apprentice – and all proceeds will go toward the Ukraine crisis.

Aaron will be auctioning off his Ted Baker tie which he wore in the 16th series of the BBC show in support of Ukrainian people affected by the Russian invasion.

Posting to Instagram and his Just Giving page, Aaron said: “I will now be raffling my Ted Baker tie off to support Ukraine.

“This tie was worn on the The Apprentice and all proceeds will be made via my Just Giving page.

“As the world watches in horror the events unfold in Ukraine, it's hard to comprehend the devastating impact this conflict is having on the civilian population.

"Women, men and children caught in heavy fighting and continuous airstrikes have been forced to flee their homes with only the possessions they can carry.

“Countless families have been torn apart and lives destroyed. Now refugees are facing an uncertain future, surviving in sub-zero temperatures without basic amenities.

“There is an urgent need for food, water, shelter and medical assistance.

“By working together we can provide this desperately needed help. By uniting and each lending our support we can help ease the suffering of these innocent people.

“Once your kind donation of has been made select your number and I will allocate this on my page. If your number isn't available, you will be placed on the next number down.”

Tickets are £5 each and there are only 100 up for grabs. The winner will be drawn once all tickets have been sold.

Aaron, the director of a security business, made it to week 10 of The Apprentice before being fired by Alan Sugar in a double elimination.

Aaron and Akeem Bundu-Kamara were both sent home following a disastrous baby food challenge.

Since appearing on the show, Aaron has been proactive in the Lancashire community visiting local businesses and schools.

He recently visited Lower Darwen Primary School and spoke about his time on the BBC show. He also shared some entrepreneurial skills and tips with the budding young business people.
