RESIDENTS in Pendle are invited to have their say on local services.
The council's scrutiny team wants to know which services could benefit from a scrutiny study, and what issues need tackling.
Coun Margaret Bell, team chairman, said: "We want to make sure that over the next year our work reflects the issues that matter to most people in Pendle.
"We can only do this if you tell us about your concerns.
"The results of recent scrutiny work have included, for example, the return of free parking on the Pendle Rise multi-storey car park.
"And, following a review of litter and street cleaning, the fine for dropping litter, and not picking up your dog's waste will be increased to £75 to show that we are getting tough on people who continue to make Pendle a mess.
"It would be really helpful to hear from anyone who feels that there is a particular service, or issue, where we would make a difference."
To make suggestions for improvements, call Kath Haydock on 01282 661607, or email scrutiny@ pendle.gov.uk.
Forms can also be picked up from council reception areas, or completed on the website at www.pendle.gov.uk/scrutinyrequest.
The deadline is Friday, February 29.
