Police attended three incidents of poaching this weekend including one where a deer was shot and gralloched.
Officers from the Rural Task Force team in Lancashire revealed details of a number of incidents.
Police said they worked in partnership with the drone team to locate poachers. It followed incidents including one where a deer had been shot and gralloched.
In other incidents three men were arrested after a vehicle was driven the wrong way down a motorway. A police helicopter was called in and three males were located after abandoning the vehicle.
Elsewhere, the team recovered a stolen Volvo mini excavator (above) and arrested a separate drink driver who provided a sample of breath which was almost twice the legal limit.
A vehicle which had been abandoned in a rural location was also seized.
